| Weavers Journey The Inkas had no written language until the spaniards came. An oral traditinon of culture, stories and symbols where woven into their textiles. Traditionally the women are those who gather to share stories and dreams as they are weaving clothes or ceremonial items. Come for a 5 day unique experience to sit and learn from the weavers in the village of Chinchero. A community who are working to maintain ancient weaving teqniques and natural coloring of lama & sheep wool. Our teacher is Marlene who also travels in U.S bringing the weaving tradition a voice outside of Peru. She will guide us in the landscape of symbols and threads in the weaving art. We will stay at her home, cook together, share stories, and engage dreamweaving!
